Merry Christmas!

I am still using the MacBook I got as a 1L. So it's 5 years old. It has been a wonderful computer, no problems, but it's on its last leg. I was planning on limping along with it until Christmas and hoping that Santa would bring me a new one, but I just won't be able to make it work for 4 more months.

So, it's Christmas in August!

I bit the bullet tonight. I'd been doing some research on netbooks and MacBooks and all that jazz trying to figure out the best deal that would do everything I needed (which isn't much!). I decided to go with a refurbished MacBookAir, and it should be here on Tuesday! I was a little wary of buying refurbished, but talked to several people who have refurbished Apple products and have never had a problem with them. Fingers crossed I have a similar experience!
It was pretty cheap (as far as MacBooks go!) and I'm doing a 6 months no interest payment plan, so it'll be paid off quickly.

I am so excited for this skinny little pretty (no more dirty dirty white keyboard!), and hopefully this means I can get back in to the blogging groove!
