A girl a couple years younger than me from my sorority posted on a social media site earlier tonight that she was officially hired by the Cook County State's Attorney's office to be an Assistant State's Attorney. An awesome and incredibly tough job to get.
And in her post announcing her good news she said:
"your looking at the newest Cook County Assistant State's Attorney!!!"
I just can't.
This is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteThat is my biggest grammar pet peeve!
ReplyDeletearrrrrrrrgh!
ReplyDeletewow. Rough.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she was just super excited!
ReplyDeleteHilarious!!!! I would expect more from someone who has passed the bar exam.....
ReplyDeleteFor the love. We have been in the process of hiring a new associate, and when I opened the resume of the most recent candidate, Harvard and Georgetown educated, there was a GLARING grammatical and punctuation error on the first page. Glaring. I'm sure she's a very good attorney - but now that's the first thing I think about.
ReplyDeleteI about died when I read that on twitter...wow! All I can really think about when I read this post is Cary and The Good Wife!
ReplyDeleteEw.
ReplyDeleteThat one kills me when I see it on facebook! This made me laugh. Lets hope she was just in a rush. We have all done it...
ReplyDeleteYour kidding, right? HA!
ReplyDeleteUGH! Worst ever, why can't people get it?!
ooof.
