Dirk is 9 weeks old today! I *think* he's up to 23 pounds. It's hard to get an accurate weight on a wiggly puppy. Maybe I'll re-weigh him after he falls asleep, ha.
I took his cone down yesterday and tried to clean it up and re-tape it, but it didn't even last 12 hours before he managed to knock it off because I had obviously done a crappy job. So at 3 AM last night I was in tears trying to re-tape him.
We will be going to the vet tomorrow for help with a re-tape... there's nothing that looks worse than cropped ears that don't stand (which is precisely why I didn't get Elle's ears done - I was terrified I'd suck at taping and ruin them... not sure why I thought I could figure it out this time).
That's what they'll look like if I don't keep up with the taping. He's still pretty cute but the ears look pretty goofy.
Other than that he's doing great and cute as can be!
And of course - the only way I can get a good picture is if he's asleep. I let him get up on the couch with me, whoops! Still making him sleep in the crate at night and when I'm gone though, so it's okay.
