I've been cat-sitting for my friend Brad's cat while he's on vacation in Costa Rica (tough life, right?).
She's a wild thing but super sweet and makes me laugh.
Her name is Avery Jenkins and she should probably get a job working for the circus.
Also - the tulips have finally bloomed!!! I know this happened like 2 months ago in other parts of the country but spring took it's sweet time coming in Chicago this year.
And the TRUE sign that spring has sprung... There are boats in the harbor and golf course is green!!! It's a little foggy today but 84 degrees and beautiful outside!
if by golf coast you meant gulf coast of emerald green waters then you are correct. otherwise i think the golf course is up to par and back to the normal green.

ReplyDeleteThat golf course is evil. The other day I was riding my bike and an errant golf ball slammed into the concrete mere feet in front of me. Scared the beejezus out of me. Sort of like cats. Cats are scary. They have sharp teeth and claws.
ReplyDeleteOh the tulips. Do we think that new Mayor Rahm will still allocate 60% of our tax revenue to the tulips??? Because personally, I'm all for it. And maybe some poppies! Ohh popppppiess!!!
ReplyDeletewhat a nutty cat. i am not a cat person, but i like seeing crazy things other people's cats do. so cat sitting would be perfect for me. because after a while, the cat goes home. i am more of a dog person. a little sunshine makes all the difference. hooray for spring.
