Oh no. Deep breathes. Deeeep breathes. Probably nothing we can say right now to make you feel better, but just take care of yourself, stay calm, and know that all your readers still think you're fabulous! <3
I'm desperately hoping this is an April Fool's joke (and I'm thinking it's cruel for the results to come out today) because my heart just sank for you when I read it. I think you need to come back to Texas - bar results from previous states can be completely ignored and you get a fresh start.
I hope you're drinking a nice big margarita (or martini or whatever) tonight and reminding yourself how little the Bar has to do with being a lawyer (and that it has nothing to do with being a generally awesome person).
I'm so sorry. My heart and breath stopped when I read that. I've got no other words to say, because I know that nothing anyone says can make this better for you :(
Oh LF, don't give up. Third time's a charm. Girl over here speaking from experience not with law but education. It took me three times to pass my test that's equivalent to the bar. First time, I went out way too much and didn't study a lick. Second time, you'd think I'd have learned, nope. Didn't study til the week before. I just thought a major cram session would do it. After failing two times due to my own demise, I put down the bourbon and got to business. I passed:) You can do anything you put your mind to! Chin up, pretty girl!
If you need anything at all, just call. I'm here. I love you.

ReplyDeleteBarzam sucks donkey balls and is not remotely a test of the skills you need to be a lawyer. I am sorry.

ReplyDeleteYou are, as everyone else noted, fabulous. The bar exam result does not change that.
