The Texas Rangers are going to the World Series

And as a native Dallasite, I'm thrilled. Mostly because I'm old friends with Nolan Ryan.

This is 5 year old Legally Fabulous, after a softball lesson with Nolan at the old Ballpark in Arlington. My mom says this: 

"My memory of this...I told [Legally Fab] she was having her pic taken with Nolan Ryan. She said. Who's that? Putting it in 5 year olds terms, I said, he's the "new kids on the block" of baseball. 

THEN she was impressed!"
