So, you know how when you drink all day (tailgating or whatever) and you go to a bar, and you come outside of the bar, and you're shithammered, but it's still light outside? And you're wasted but it's still daytime but it was just dark in the bar and you feel all confused and discombobulated?
Thats pretty much exactly how I felt walking out of bar/bri this morning.
What the hell just happened?!?
I hate that!
ReplyDeleteI moved from a northern state to a southern and I keep getting so confused when it gets dark/light so much earlier.
Just a thought - if you think studying for the bar sucks this time imagine how bad it will suck studying for it the second time if you fail. Study, study, study! It is worth it. It will pay off.
ReplyDeletei wish i could say it will get better soon....but it won't. The best thing I can tell you is that it will all (sort of) come together in the last 2 weeks...but just enough to pass. That's all that matters, anyways, right? Keep at it!
ReplyDeleteSpak happened. Least helpful lecturer ever. Just memorize as much crap as you can, don't try to understand it, and outline dump.
ReplyDeleteJillian Michael's show comes on tonight!!
ReplyDeleteThat is a the perfect summary of how I feel this afternoon.
ReplyDeleteOutstanding.
Ah, Spak! I remember him.
ReplyDeleteDon't let it get you down. Just keep at it.
When I took the bar, I did MBE questions, then class, lunch, then made flashcards of that day till 4. A quick break, then 1/2 hours of essay outlining. I would then go home and eat dinner (by now its like 6:30), and review my MBEs. I was done latest by 9 every night. TV & icecream or cocktail, then bed.
I think the most important thing is to get on a schedule and keep to it.
that bad? what was today's lecture on? i walked out fried like that on trusts and wills/estates days. have a drink tonight and start fresh in the morning
ReplyDeleteOh! I can relate to this....how does one explan this to drunken self? haha
ReplyDeleteMy advice as an actual bar review company shill is to just stay on task, stick to your schedule, and remember, this is like 1L finals...people are losing their minds, no one knows what to expect, and there are a lot of douchebags running around bragging about how much more studying they're doing than you and how many MBE practice questions they're doing. Don't listen to them...and don't lose confidence. You can do this!
