On AOL this morning it has the top 10 places to meet men. While the other 9 were cities, number 9 was the STATE of Texas. Number 10 was Austin itself.
Chicago wasn't on the list.

ReplyDeleteI remember when Oprah said that Arlington was the best palce to meet an eligible bachelor. I was living in Fort Worth and friends thought I should move. Funny enough, my now husband was already in Arlington!

ReplyDeletemy mom also called me today to tell me about this list. i'm newly single and live in austin, so she was so excited to learn from an expert (cough) source that i was in such a great place to meet someone new. the version of the list she saw listed cedar street as the best place to meet guys. so she asked if i have ever been there (she's shameless!). turns out i have--that's where i met the ex. immediately soured her enthusiasm and undermined her faith in the list ;)
