One of my mother's favorite things to do is to send me e-mails or text messages in January that say "how's the weather in Chicago today?"
She thinks it's hysterical. I do not.
It is SO WONDERFUL out today... there are people out everywhere. Until you've suffered through a Chicago winter you will never REALLY appreciate the first 80 degree day of the year.
And in other good news - I am Dallas-bound tomorrow! So excited to spend a long weekend at home with the family!

ReplyDeleteI have a friend who lives in LA and she does the same thing regarding the weather in the middle of winter.
Yeah but you'll be the one laughing come August when 7 degrees cooler than hell in Big D.
