Weigh-In Wednesday

Some good news this week, FINALLY!

This week: -3.5 pounds
Total: -18.5 pounds

I think staying in this weekend and not drinking really helped (duh). I wasn't too hungover to work out and I didn't consume a million unnecessary vodka-tonic calories.
I had pretty good workouts every day except Sunday (rest day).

I am almost back to where I was before Christmas: -20 pounds. It is time to GET THERE and get PAST it!

My goal is still to be down 30 pounds by my graduation on May 16.
That's 11.5 pounds in 9.5 weeks.
It is totally do-able, but it won't be easy.

Any hints or tips for someone who has been struggggling for 15 months?!?!

  1. Hey - it's @aellislegal from Twitter. First, good for you!! Second, I totally understand - I gained 20 pounds after I started working from home!! Trying to lose them now. Check out this blog if you haven't already discovered it - there's a FB page, too, and the girl is on Twitter ... http://losingweightinthecity.com/

  2. No tips, just keep plugging away at it! :) Working out, watching what you eat, and unfortunately, watching how much you drink, it'll all help out!

  5. Whoo hoo... Good job! Between your drop and the supply nazi from my work and her 4.5lb lose this week, I'm feeling like I'm on the biggest loser and about to get kicked off for being the slowest loser! ha!

Keep up the great work!! Since I've been struggling forever...no advice of mine worth giving. I suck! LOL

  6. You're doing great! The busier I am doing something else, the less I eat! So, while I am at home, I try to constantly play with my son, clean, or anything else that will keep me busy. I always snack when I am bored. Sorry, this is probably stuff that you've heard over and over. But, for me, it is the biggest issue! :) Keep working hard, it will all pay off!

  7. I use a calorie counter, such as My Plate on the livestrong.com webpage, to keep a track of what I eat. I basically try to watch my sugar and fat intake. Cut out those two while working out and the weight will melt off.
