Weigh-In Wednesday

Okay I know I say this every week, but seriously WHERE did the last week go?!
Good news to report this week (hooray!)

So it seems like the weeks that I am really strict with counting calories and working out every day, I don't have nearly as much change as when I let myself have 1 or 2 "cheat" days. I guess this sorta makes sense... shocking my metabolism into working or something like that?
Luckily, this week was not an exception to that rule (see Wednesday 12/9 and Thursday 12/10... they were SCARY! haha).

I'm honestly kind of shocked by this week... I had to step on the scale three different times to make sure it was true.

This week: - 3 pounds
Total since January 3, 2009: -20 pounds!

Yep... you read that right. TWENTY POUNDS! Which means I am just 10 pounds away from my original 30 pound goal. WAHOOO!
It only took me 11.5 months to get here. Ha.

And for those of you who care about what I'm doing at the gym - here ya go:
Wednesday, 12/9: No workout. Had my evidence final (ick), then went out and had entirely too much to eat and drink when it was over. (Seriously. WAY too much. I am not in college anymore. eeeek!)
Thursday, 12/10: No workout. Spent the entire day violently hungover. Had 3 meals: An entire frozen pizza at noon, McDonald's at 3 PM, and ordered pizza at 8PM. Clearly, I am a picture of health.
Friday, 12/11: Back on track. 25 minutes on the stairmaster, "ran" for 15 minutes on the treadmill (1% incline, 5.5mph), 20 minutes on the elliptical. 50 pushups, 100 crunches.
Saturday, 12/12: 30 minutes on the stairmaster, ran for 10 minutes (6mph, 1.5% incline), 20 minutes on the elliptical, 5 minutes on the bike. 50 pushups (I REALLY struggled with the pushups today for some reason) and 100ish crunches (I lost count).
Sunday, 12/13: 25 minutes on the stairmaster, ran for 10 minutes (6mph, 1% incline), 20 minutes on the elliptical.
Monday, 12/14: 45 minute spin class (last one until the New Year, sad!), 25 minutes on the elliptical, 25 pushups
Tuesday, 12/15: 25 minutes on the stair master, 25 minutes on the treadmill, 10 minutes on the elliptical, 50 pushups, 100 crunches

As for the eating - with a few exceptions I've been eating anywhere from 1200-2000 calories a day, just depending on how starving I am.

And now, I am off to take my LAST FINAL of 2009! Hooray! Unfortunately it is also likely to be the hardest final of 2009. Business Organizations. Barf.

It's boring.
It's hard.
I don't really have a good grasp of the material.

This should be fun....

  1. Getting to that final goal is simple: get swine flu. 1 week and you'll be at or passed your goal.

    Simple!

  13. Business Organizations was my least favorite class ever! It was my last final last winter and my bf left the night before I had to take the test, so I couldn't celebrate him being done. It was horrible!
