Christmas decorations....

I have completed my Christmas decorations!

hahaha. Yes, these are my only "decorations".
Christmas is always synonymous with finals for me, and then I go home and don't come back til the middle of January, so I don't decorate for Christmas. But Elle can certainly get a Christmas collar! One of my mom's friends picked this one up for her (she got one for Satin too!), and it is just SO CUTE. She got it at some craft fair or something, so it's handmade. It's painted and has glitter on it. I'm sure the glitter is already ALL OVER my bed, but oh well.

Here are a couple closer up pics of the cuteness:

Sorry for the crappy pics... I desperately need a new camera so these are just iphone pics.

Do you guys get Christmas collars/sweaters for your dogs? (Elle would totally have a Christmas sweater if I could find one big enough... poor baby is just too large!). She does have a HOT PINK winter coat, but I don't bust that out til it gets below 20 degrees. It's super cute.

Did you get your Christmas decorations put up? Or are you a poor pathetic student like moi with an undecorate bah-humbug apartment?! Haha.

Hope everyone is having a good Monday!
XO

p.s. how cute is Elle in that first pic? I literally had to PICK her head up to put the collar on her she was SO exhausted when I picked her up last night. Four days of doggie daycare is a lot of playtime!

  1. I put jingle bells on the dogs' collars. It probably drives them crazy, but it's so cute for the short time I make them wear them.

  2. I WANT one of those collars. I wish I had one before we took our xmas photo last night. I was not prepared. We cut down a tree, put it up and decorated it in 2 hours- just in time for when my friend arrived to snap some photos of us!
I have not had any luck with a dog sweater for our pup, but I am going to give it another try because she has been so cold!!

  3. That is about the extend of my Christmas decorating as well. Except I left Dooley's Christmas collar at home so I'm hoping my mom will mail it.

And how great is it when they have spent a day (not to mention 4) at doggie daycare and can't even keep their eyes open. Hopefully Dooley will let me study tonight after spending 8 hours at daycare today!

  4. I'm pretty much on the poor college student level. Add that to a boyfriend that doesn't really enjoy the holiday season and you don't have a lot to work with, ha! If I had a pup though, she'd be all decked out in holiday wear!

  6. I never decorated during law school either, I just never had time. I didn't decorate this year either bc bf isn't here and I think doing it alone would just bum me out.

  8. Very nice collar. If I had a dog I would certainly want one like yours for my dog. I'm just thinking that it would be good to start with Christmas decorating. The Christmas atmosphere is almost everywhere so it would be good to enjoy it by a useful way like decorating. But before I start I'll need to get some inspiration.

    Have a nice day,
    Julie
