Weigh-In Wednesday!

Howdy everyone!

Sorry I missed Weigh-in Wednesday last week... I was having a crrrrazzyyyy week trying to get my Europe take-home finals finished and going home for my friend's wedding, etc.

In addition to being too busy to even weigh-in last week, I was too busy to be a very good weight watcher/ work-outter! I only worked out twice in the last week (once with the trainer). I've been trying to work out 4-5 days a week, so that was a big step in the wrong direction. However this week I finally feel like I've got my life back on track, so I'm going to be back to my regular routine of working out, classes, and actually sleeping (hooray!).

So anyway - enough excuses. This week:
No change in weight. Which is actually a good thing considering the way I ate and didn't work out.
It had been three weeks since I've done measurements though, and there was good news there! Since August 26th, I've lost 1 inch in my hips, half an inch in my waist, and half an inch in my boobs. No change in arms or thighs, although my trainer says he thinks that my thighs look thinner. Hooray!

Since my first workout with my trainer on August 19th, I've lost 2 inches in my waits and an inch and a half in my hips. HOOORAY! There is still LOTS of work to be done, but I am feeling good about my progess and my ability to change my body.

For the first time since originally starting Weight Watchers in January, I am losing weight and am actually able to tell a difference in my body. It's not a huge difference, but my clothes are a liiiiitttttle less snug. My jeans are not so snug in the waist/hips/thighs, which is an excellent feeling. In April I had gotten close to losing 15 pounds (most of which I managed to gain back in Europe... awesome), but couldn't tell at all. It's nice to see that working with my trainer is paying off and I'm making a change.

There is still lots of work to be done, but I'm feeling good about it!
Hope everyone else out there had a happy, healthy week!
XOXO

  1. I sooo need to get a trainer to keep me accountable! I am definitely more interested in losing inches so that my clothes fit better, than I am with the actual pounds lost. Am looking in to going back to the gym now...
