As you regular readers know, I like to write about people I read about in the news who I think deserve the death penalty.
See previous posts here and here.
I feel like I could write an entire blog only on the fucked up things that people do. Excuse my language, but there is no other way to describe someone who decapitates an infant as seriously FUCKED UP.
This post isn't going to be about someone who necessarily deserves the death penalty... but it's seriously fucked up. (Okay, last time I'm saying that... let's stick with f'ed up).
So I'm doing my daily rounds of online news-reading when I come across this story:
Nebraska Man Stole Virgin Mary Painting to Pay for Abortion
I was thinking of all the things that I have to say about this, but honestly it's going to get my too riled up and I'm getting ready to go out for a pleasant dinner, so I'll just let you guys read and comment.
Again, I ask: What the hell is wrong with people?!
OMG. Wow, that is totally unbelievably wretchedly fucked up. Holy geeze.
ReplyDeleteOf ALL of the things to steal to pay to kill an unborn baby.
Okay, I can't continue this comment. My head will explode.
Totally agree with you. Seriously f'ed up!
ReplyDeleteOMG--SO wrong. Ugh! I stay away from the news for this reason...but, I hate being uninformed. Catch 22.

Wow how amazingly ironic!
ReplyDeleteSome people's children!
I found your blog through DAR and it's nice to see another Republican blogger who isn't afraid to admit they aren't a fan of Obama :)
ReplyDeleteI can't believe the story you posted -- disgusting!
Anyways, just wanted to say Hi!
Unbelievable! Just when someone goes further down the deep end than you thought possible, someone goes even further!
ReplyDeleteIt's disturbing that he raped a 14 year-old girl in the first place. Then he's obviously not very smart since he sold that painting for $3000 when it was worth $100,000.
ReplyDeleteThat's so awful.
ReplyDeleteMy hometown is currently in the throes of the trials of 4 alleged torturers/rapists facing the death penalty.
It's horrifying but I can't stop following it.http://www.knoxnews.com/news/2009/aug/24/torture-slaying-trial-day-7-deliberations-start-to/
really sad. seriously, some people shouldn't be allowed to recreate.
ReplyDeleteI don't know. when I hear stuff like that is makes me sick. xo
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog... I'm a new little 1L... and trying to connect with other bloggers on the terrors / triumphs of law school. I also wanted to agree with everything JENN had to say:

LOL. I can't wait to read more of your blog!
Holy crap (literally). I'm speechless.
ReplyDeleteI ask myself this question every day. Every day I read the news and I read something so shocking that I don't think I can ever be as shocked again for the rest of my life. Then the next day there will be something more shocking. One day my eyes will literally pop right out of their sockets.
ReplyDeleteLast night I was reading about the Chris Newsome/Channon Christian case (are you familiar with it?) and I cried and cried thinking about what they must have gone through. I don't know whats wrong with people. I truly don't.
I believe in the death penalty. We don't have it here in Australia since the last person they hanged turned out to be innocent but I wish they'd bring it back. I guess thats why I chose law. My future goal is to buy an island somewhere in the middle of nowhere and dump these stupid bastards on it. Let the mongrels sort themselves out.
