Trying to Start Outlining...

I'm trying to start outlining, but I just want to go to sleep!

I always sleep a lot right before finals... well actually now that I think about it, I sleep a lot anytime I'm stressed and/or depressed.

Actually, let's back up here... I sleep a lot. Period. BUT, I sleep EXTRA during times that I'm stressed or depressed. I think it's because instead of worrying about it I'd rather sleep through it.

I wish I was more productive... I am SO not the stereotypical caffeinated law student spending 18 hours a day in the library. More like 18 hours in bed. Whoopsies.

Anyone else find themselves sleeping through finals?

  1. i think you and i are the same person, or at least the same law student! i LOVE to sleep and took a good 2 1/2 nap this afternoon to avoid studying. i've decided that sanity is way more important than my gpa!

  2. Gah I wish!! I get so stressed during finals that I turn into an insomniac. I don't study, I just lay in bed dreading it!!

  3. Yes. That is my exam period law school mantra. The more you sleep, the less you stress. Too bad I took my business corps exam this morning and realized that I slept too much. Slept right through studying the important parts for the exam. Whoops.

  4. Yup. Getting motivated to go study? Very very hard. I spend the whole day pining for my bed. It's 8:40 AM now and I think a nap sounds great. My roommate makes this worse as she actually takes a nap after brunch on Saturdays and Sundays.

  5. Sleep is much more important that outlining.

    Or studying of any kind.
