Are fights to O'hare ever NOT delayed?

Here I am, at the end of a lovely Thanksgiving break at home, about to head to the airport, when a friend mentions via g-chat that the weather in Chicago is crappy... (no big shocker there). So I figure I might as well check my flight status before I leave for the airport. 

Delayed 20 minutes so far. 

Are flights to O'hare ever NOT delayed?! Seriously. I hate that airport. It's always freaking something. 

Luckily the airport is close to home, so I'm going to hang out around here for a while, instead of in the airport, until I think the flight will actually be leaving. 

I need to get back ASAP though... I have my first final on Friday and a 25 page paper due a week from tomorrow, and I've done pretty much nothing for either of them (you're shocked, I know). 

Here's hoping the weather in the Chi calms down for a little bit so I can get back...

Law school jokers..

I should read this book: The Slacker's Guide to Law School. I think I've got that down pat.

... assuming of course I pass all my classes this semester and am still enrolled in law school.

Less than 2 weeks until my first final.... and what did I accomplish this weekend?
Not a damn thing.
I am NOT going to bed tonight until I at least get the mental health issues reading done for the rest of the semesterrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

Getting work done

Remember how I was going to spend this weekend getting my life in order?

Getting my life in order

This is the first Saturday I've been home since at least the middle of September... maybe even before that. It was amazing to sleep late. Now the time has come to get my life in order: I'm going to work out, and then start outlining for upcoming finals.
This is always the hardest time of the semester for me to study... things are far enough away that I lack the feeling of urgency that comes when finals are right around the corner, but they're close enough that I know I need to get moving or be super stressed later.
It's also hard to figure out where to start!
Ah. here goes....

The election is finally over... HOOORAY! Now people's facbeook statuses can go back to being about how drunk they were the night before and how tired they are.

November already?!

Can't believe it's already November.

I have my first final in one month, the week after Thanksgiving. Where did this semester go?!

This semester I have finals in Property, Mental Health Issues, and Criminal Law.
I have a 25 page paper to write for Family Law, and a take home final for my Law and Popular Culture class. Ugh. This will be a busy busy busy next 6 weeks.
